know how much or how often or what you want but FYI in case you know
anyone coming to Festival d'Acadienne this weekend...lots of
unadvertised stuff all this week with benefit to Katrina victims.
Tuesday night Jano Fischburg (great fiddler from New Orleans, now
a refugee/evacuee) and Mitch Reed (one of my faves) are playing a house
concert at Mitch's store. I believe it's to benefit Jano and his
family. Take I-49 North from Lafayette, turn right to 500 E. Gloria
Switch Road to Louisiana Heritage and Gifts. Among other things,
Mitch's store is home to many on Saturdays, Creole jam in the morning
and Cajun in the afternoon.
